The Guangdong Museum has collected thousands of exquisite paintings and calligraphy by Chinese masters throughout the dynasties, with a focus on works of art from the Ming and Qing periods. This issue introduces paintings from the Qing collection of the Guangdong Museum, featuring works by the Four Wangs, Wu Li, the Eight Masters of Nanjing, the Four Monks, and prominent painters of the Xinan School, the Jiangxi School, the Gushu School, the Huangshan School, the Yangzhou School and the Shanghai School. Represented artists include Yang Changwen, Cheng Zhengkui, Sun Yi, Zhang Mu, Cheng Sui, Hong Ren, Kun Can, Dai Benxiao, Zhu Da, Shi Tao, Gao Qipei, Jin Nong and Zhao Zhiqian.
