$350.00

One of the most distinguished characteristics of Fu Baoshi’s landscape paintings is his uniquely vivid depiction of waterfalls, springs and rain scenes. This issue introduces over 40 of his masterpieces depicting these scenes, most of which are never before published. Contributing authors of this issue include Mr. Fu Ershi, Mr. Cao Wen and Mr. Zhu Kei, who offer invaluable insights into Fu’s rain and water paintings. In order to examine the changing stylistic trends in Fu’s art, this issue also introduces several of Fu’s works completed in the 30s from the Mosashino Art University collection in Tokyo.
